What is the Eligibility Criteria for NCERT Recruitment 2024?

1. Profile : Assistant Editor

Education Qualification– Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
– Postgraduate Diploma in Book Publishing/Mass Communication/Journalism with editing as a subject.
– Minimum 5 years of experience in editing and publishing school textbooks, monographs, and reports.
– Knowledge of book production techniques and modern printing processes.
– Proficiency in English/Hindi/Urdu.

Desirable:
Word processing and techniques of online editing.

Knowledge of typography.

3. Profile : DTP Operators

Education Qualification– Graduation in any subject.
– One-year diploma/certificate course in Desktop Publishing from a recognized institute.
– Minimum 3 years of experience in a reputable publishing house, preferably in textbook creation.
– Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Equation Editor, Microsoft Word, including Excel, and PageMaker.
– Proficiency in typing in both Hindi and English.

Desirable:
– Knowledge of QuarkXPress and CorelDraw.
– Knowledge of prepress preparation.
