PM Kisan Mandhan Yojana 2024

Government of India has initiated the Prime Minister’s Kisan Mandhan Yojana to assist every small and marginal farmer in the country and to ensure a decent livelihood in old age. This scheme was launched by the central government on May 31, 2019, to provide pensions to small and marginal farmers across the country.

PM Kisan Mandhan Yojana Details

• Every individual residing in small and marginal areas of India who is living as a farmer between the ages of 18 to 40 can apply for the Prime Minister’s Kisan Mandhan Yojana. The application amount may vary according to age.
  • If you are 18 years old, you will have to pay a premium of ₹55 per month, and if you are 40 years old, you will have to pay ₹200 per month as premium.
• Upon reaching the age of 60, farmers enrolled in this scheme will receive a pension of ₹3,000 per month, totaling ₹36,000 per year.
• If the applicant farmer dies for any reason, then the widow of the deceased farmer will receive 50 percent of the pension, which is ₹1,500 per month. However, applicants must fulfill certain conditions to apply for this scheme.

• The main objective of starting the Prime Minister’s Kisan Mandhan Yojana is to empower every farmer in the country in old age.

How to Apply offline PM Kisan Mandhan Yojana

If you want to apply offline for the Prime Minister’s Kisan Mandhan Yojana, then follow the procedures carefully.

• Step 1: To apply offline, you must first go to your nearest CSC Service Center. Before going there, you will need to bring your annual income certificate and land documents with you.
• Step 2: You will need to obtain the application form for the Prime Minister’s Kisan Mandhan Yojana from that CSC Service Center.
• Step 3: Then fill in all the details in that application form properly and deposit the pension amount according to your age into your bank account.
• Step 4: Now you will need to attach the necessary documents with that application form.
• Step 5: Then you will need to submit the application form and documents to the employees of the CSC Service Center. Then your application will be processed by the employees of the CSC Service Center.
• Step 6: Now you will receive a receipt from that service center, which will let you know that you have successfully applied for the Prime Minister’s Kisan Mandhan Yojana.

How to Apply online PM Kisan Mandhan Yojana

If you want to apply online for the Prime Minister’s Kisan Mandhan Yojana, then carefully follow the steps given below.

• Step 1: To go to the official website, you first need to enter this link https://pmkmy.gov.in/ on your browser and go to the official website.
• Step 2: After coming to the homepage of the official website, you will need to click on the “Click Here to Apply Now” option on the bottom right.
• Step 3: After coming to the next page, you will need to enter your mobile number and click on the PROCEED option. Then fill in the captcha code properly and click on the Generate OTP option. After that, you will need to fill the received OTP correctly in the designated place on your mobile number and click on the PROCEED option.
• Step 4: Now you will need to click on the Enrollment option and click on the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Mandhan Yojana option.
• Step 5: After coming to the next page, you will need to enter your Aadhar number, then tick the empty box, and now you can fill your application form according to your Aadhar number. You can also fill out the application form in your handwriting.
• Step 6: After filling out the application form properly, now you will need to tick on the Declaration option and click on the Submit option.
• Step 7: After clicking on the Submit option, you will see the option to fill in the account details. There you will need to fill in your IFSC code, bank name, account type, and account number correctly.
• Step 8: After filling out the bank details, now you will need to fill in the Nominee Details properly.
• Step 9: Now you will need to choose whether you want to contribute every month or every three months or every six months or once a year. After selecting that option, you will need to tick on the Declaration option and click on the Submit & Proceed option to submit your application.
• Step 10: After coming to the next page, you will see the option to Print Mandate Form. By clicking on that option, you will see a form. After downloading that form, you will need to sign it. Then you will need to upload the signed application form. So you can successfully apply for this scheme.
